"Bombay Furniture" closes in the U.S.

Bombay Furniture will close their stores in the U.S. following the 2007 holiday season. The joint venture of Gordon Bros. Retail Partners and Hilco Merchant Resources have won their bid for remaining U.S. inventory. They have put in an offer, that must be approved by an Ontario court, to keep remaining Canadian locations open.
