Designer and HGTV personality Libby Langdon is commissioned to host the 21st American Furniture Hall of Fame Induction Banquet on October 18, 2009, Sunday. Langdon is a commentator and lead designer for HGTV’s “Small Space, Big Style” TV program.

According to Don Belgrad, president of the American Furniture Hall of Fame Foundation, they chose Langdon because of her passion about home furnishings and furniture and preserving its history.

Langdon said in a press release, “As a fellow member of this industry, I have a deep appreciation for its rich history and I am thrilled to play a key role in this special evening."

According to Belgrad, Langdon instantly agreed when they approached her about headlining the banquet. “We know she will bring much enthusiasm and life to our event because that is what Libby Langdon is all about,” he exclaimed.
