While shopping for furniture online,  many customers will have a lot of doubts and concerns. Imagine 500 people walk  into a furniture store, how many of them would actually buy furniture?  I would  say the number depends on the products and services of that store. I would at  least say about 20-100 people will make a purchase. In contrast, imagine that  you get 500 visits a day to your site. How many would actually buy furniture?  I  would say probably around 5-10? Why?
There are many reasons for that,  but one of the most obvious reasons is that customers have fears and concerns.  Why shouldn't they? Once they land on a page and see the online store/company  they have never heard of before, they start wondering who these guys are and if  it is safe to buy from them? What if I don't get my item shipped? What if the  item shipped is not the same as I saw online? What if my furniture gets damaged?  What if .......?
To make our customers feel comfortable and ensure that  they gain more confidence shopping with us, we decided to redesign our  testimonial page. Instead of just showing the plain quote from our customer, we  added the picture of the item that the customer actually bought.  You can take a  look at our new testmonial page and you will see  it does add more credibility to our customers' testimonials. In the future, we  will try to get the consent from these customers and post pictures of their  furniture on the web to show you what the products actually look  like.
